Job Description: As the WMFG Campaign Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Arkansas under Willie Morris’s visionary leadership. With your political acumen, strategic prowess, and unwavering commitment to Willie’s mission, you will lead our campaign team to victory.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive campaign strategy that reflects Willie Morris’s vision and values, leveraging his extensive experience as a disability rights advocate and community leader.
2. Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of campaign staff, volunteers, and supporters, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
3. Political Outreach: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including elected officials, community leaders, advocacy groups, and donors, to garner support for Willie’s campaign and policy agenda.
4. Fundraising: Oversee all aspects of fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, event planning, and budget management, to ensure the financial viability and success of the campaign.
5. Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, including media relations, digital outreach, and messaging, to amplify Willie Morris’s message and engage voters across Arkansas.
6. Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with Willie Morris and his policy team to develop innovative solutions and advocate for legislative initiatives that empower the disabled community and advance social justice.
7. Campaign Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of all campaign activities, including field operations, volunteer coordination, voter mobilization, and compliance with electoral regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable four-year public or private university.
• Proven track record of leadership and success in political campaigns, with at least 5 years of experience in senior campaign management roles.
• Strong understanding of Arkansas politics, government structures, and electoral processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate Willie Morris’s message effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement winning campaign strategies.
• Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management.
• Passion for social justice, disability rights, and inclusive policymaking.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and travel as needed in a fast-paced campaign environment.
