Job Description: As the WMFG Campaign Associate Director, you will be instrumental in executing our campaign strategy and advancing Willie Morris’s vision for a more inclusive Arkansas. With your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and dedication to social justice, you’ll help lead our team to victory.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy Support: Assist the Executive Director in developing and implementing the overall campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with Willie Morris’s vision and goals.
- Departmental Oversight: Provide leadership and support to department directors, ensuring that campaign initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration among campaign departments to maximize synergy and impact.
- Project Management: Manage specific campaign initiatives or projects as assigned by the Executive Director, ensuring timely completion and achievement of objectives.
- Data Analysis: Analyze campaign data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, informing strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including volunteers, donors, community leaders, and partner organizations, to foster support for the campaign.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate campaign events, including rallies, town halls, fundraisers, and volunteer activities, to engage voters and build momentum.
- Volunteer Management: Support the Director of Volunteer Services in recruiting, training, and mobilizing volunteers to support campaign activities and outreach efforts.
- Policy Advocacy: Assist the Policy Director in researching, drafting, and advocating for policy initiatives that align with Willie Morris’s platform and priorities.
- Communication Support: Collaborate with the Director of Communications to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all campaign communications channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable four-year public or private university.
- Demonstrated experience in campaign management, political organizing, or advocacy work, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Passion for social justice, advocacy, and community engagement.
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends as needed in a fast-paced campaign environment.
