William Morris is a dedicated advocate, visionary leader, and a relentless champion for equality and progress. From humble beginnings to the forefront of the fight for disability rights, William’s journey is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, William faced challenges from an early age, but he refused to let his disability define him. Growing up in Arkansas, he discovered a passion for advocacy and service, inspired by his own experiences navigating the healthcare system and witnessing the barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in his community.

As a young leader, William became deeply involved with his local Easterseals affiliate in Arkansas, where he tirelessly advocated for improved disability services and greater accessibility for all. His dedication and leadership quickly caught the attention of community leaders, who recognized his potential to effect meaningful change.

Driven by a desire to create a more inclusive and equitable society, William embarked on a journey of self-advocacy and activism, becoming a powerful voice for individuals with disabilities at the local, state, and national levels. His recent trip to Washington D.C. to advocate for the Transformation to Competitive Integrated Employment Act showcased his unwavering commitment to advancing policies that would transform the lives of millions of individuals with disabilities, phasing out sheltered workshops and promoting integrated employment opportunities.

In addition to his advocacy work, William is the Founder, President, and CEO of The Morris Youth Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy and outreach for individuals with disabilities. Through his foundation, William has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities, breaking down barriers, and fostering greater inclusion and accessibility in society.

William also serves as the Founder and Director of the Advocacy Corp Committee, a subcommittee dedicated to amplifying the voices of individuals with disabilities and driving systemic change through advocacy and activism.

Furthermore, William is a sitting member of the consumer advisory council of one of the PASSE organizations, where he leverages his firsthand experience and expertise to inform policy decisions and advocate for the needs of individuals with disabilities within the healthcare system.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose and a steadfast commitment to justice, William Morris is a trailblazer, a changemaker, and a beacon of hope for individuals with disabilities across Arkansas.
